2020-2021 SAC Leadership Team
The HGHS CSF Student Advisory Council (SAC) includes a dedicated leadership team that oversees all CSF SAC activities and meets regularly with the HGHS Club Advisor and CSF Board SAC Committee Co-Chairs. The leadership team plans and runs the bi-monthly meetings and club activities. The leaders of the SAC for the 2020-2021 school year are:
Co-Presidents: Lauren Levine, Sami Polikoff & Anika Puri
Co-Presidents are responsible for the functioning of the CSF SAC Club. They plan and run all Club meetings, oversee all CSF SAC activities and meet regularly with their Executive Officers, Faculty Advisor and CSF Board SAC Committee Co-Chairs. The Co-Presidents are the primary liaison with HGHS administration and CSF Board SAC Committee co-chairs and Committee members, when possible, and represent the club at external meetings. The Co-Presidents each have an area of primary responsibility which includes overseeing the officers on the Executive Committee.
Vice President of Quality Control and Grants Analysis: Caroline Bomback
This Vice President is responsible for working with the Quality Control and Grants Analysis officers to ensure these areas are running effectively.
Vice President of Logistics and Grant Proposals: Kayla Singer
This Vice President is responsible for working with the Logistics and Grant Proposal officers to ensure these areas are running effectively.
Grants Analysis Officer: Kelly Yan
This officer is responsible for ensuring that all new club members understand the grant review process and club expectations. They will work with the club Co-Presidents and Vice President of Grants Analysis to assign grant review responsibility and, with the help of the club advisor, to select a grant team leader for each group. They act as a liaison with the CSF Grants Committee.
Technology Officer: Mason Balber
This officer is responsible for maintaining the Club Google Drive, assisting club members, the faculty advisor and the CSF SAC Committee Co-Chairs with technology related tasks including at meetings and presentations.
Logistics Officer: Jessie Greenstein
Assistant Logistics Officer: Jordan Beicke
These officers are responsible for assisting the Co-Presidents and Vice President of Logistics in communicating with club members about meeting times, tasks and timelines.
Fundraising Officers: Amanda Schlesinger & Sophie Stein
These officers are responsible for proposing and organizing club fundraising activities and organizing, providing assistance at CSF sponsored events such as the Harlem Wizards game.
Grant Proposals Officer: Jessie Greenstein
This officer is responsible for directing tasks related to the planning, implementation and follow-up of the CSF SAC shark tank. This person will also work with the Vice President of Grant Proposals, faculty advisor and CSF SAC Committee Co-Chairs to assist with any grant application development that arises from the shark tank or other club member grant ideas.
Recording Secretary: Elsa Kevorkian
This officer is responsible for recording meeting minutes for both the Executive Committee and the Club and is responsible for catching people up who miss a meeting. This person will record meeting attendance and collect and log in the forms required of Club Members.
Recruiting Officers: Jolie Leibner & Jordan Beicke
These officers are responsible for recruiting, will help advertise the club and help with marketing for new members and to promote club activities. Responsibilities include assisting with the club booth at the Student Activity Fair and the Greeley Open House as well as running student outreach campaigns once a quarter.
Assistant Quality Control Officer: Jolie Leibner
This officer is responsible for helping Co-Presidents and Vice President of Quality Control to set up meeting and task timelines and ensuring that club members are following these. This officer will also be responsible for proofreading club member work products and helping to ensure that all products are consistent and of high quality.
